EMRS Teacher Eligibility Criteria 2025
To apply for EMRS Teacher Recruitment 2025, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Educational Qualification:
- Principal: Master’s Degree + B.Ed. or integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed., minimum 9–12 years teaching/administrative experience, age not exceeding 50 years (relaxable for EMRS employees).
- PGTs: Post Graduation in concerned subject + B.Ed./integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed., age not exceeding 40 years (relaxable for EMRS employees).
- TGTs: Graduation in concerned subject + B.Ed./State-approved teaching degree + CTET, age not exceeding 35 years (relaxable for EMRS employees).
- Miscellaneous Teachers (Art, Music, Physical Education, Librarian): Relevant graduation/degree in specialized subject with minimum 50% marks, age not exceeding 35 years (relaxable for EMRS employees).
Age Limit (as on 23.10.2025)
- Principal: Up to 50 years
- PGT: Up to 40 years
- TGT & Misc. Teachers: Up to 35 years
- Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwD as per Government of India rules.
EMRS Teacher Selection Process 2025
The selection for EMRS Teacher Recruitment 2025 will be through a two-tier written examination. Tier-I is a preliminary test covering general awareness, reasoning, teaching aptitude, ICT, and language competency, while Tier-II focuses on subject-specific knowledge. For Principals, a personal interview follows Tier-II to assess leadership and administrative skills. Shortlisted candidates from all posts will then undergo document verification before final appointment.

The EMRS Staff Selection Exam (ESSE-2025) for teaching posts will be conducted in two tiers, designed to evaluate both general aptitude and subject-specific knowledge. For certain posts like Principal, an interview/personal interaction is also included after Tier-II.

EMRS Teacher Salary Details 2025
The EMRS Teacher posts offer attractive salaries as per the 7th Pay Matrix along with various allowances and benefits. Candidates selected for different teaching positions will receive basic pay according to their level, along with Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), medical facilities, and other perks as per Government of India rules. The probation period generally applies for 6 months, after which regular pay and allowances are confirmed.

- Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs): Level 8 – ₹47,600 to ₹1,51,100
